The Vice-Chancellor’s & Student Development Fund Guidelines
Guidelines for Applicants
The Vice-Chancellorās & Student Development Fund exists thanks to the generous donations from alumni, friends and QMU staff whose support ensures that all of our students have the opportunity to achieve their academic, personal or vocational goals.
Grants from the Vice-Chancellorās & Student Development Fund are designed to support student-led projects, initiatives and activities which are based in the UK or overseas and which can be demonstrated to have a positive benefit to the student and/or the University.
The Fund is designed to support only projects, initiatives, and activities which would not happen without receiving financial support.
Applications to the Vice-Chancellorās & Student Development Fund are invited from all undergraduate, postgraduate and research students currently enrolled.
The criteria for funding under the Vice-Chancellorās & Student Development Fund has some cross-over with criteria for other funds, for example Santander Universities. You are welcome to apply to more than one fund, but please note that the same project will not be funded twice.
Applications will be assessed by the Vice-Chancellorās & Student Development Fund Panel consisting of QMU senior staff.
